Prevent Blindness Ohio: HealthyEyes Program screened 3,759 Clark and Champaign County residents while seventeen residents received donated vision services. The goal of the HealthyEyes Program is to decrease the incidence of preventable vision loss among Ohio’s adult population through promotion of healthy lifestyles, early detection and treatment. Volunteer advocates who work with aging populations were trained to help detect vision problems needing treatment as well.
Community Health Foundation is happy to support these efforts with outreach grant funding.
