Community Health Foundation’s annual Health Expo event returns on October 7 at the Hollenbeck Bayley Conference Center. Join us for a fun, interactive, informative event!

Do I need to register to attend the Health Expo and is there a cost?

No, there is no cost and you do not need to register to attend. Just show up!

What screenings are available at the Health Expo? Do they cost anything?

This year’s Health Expo includes flu vaccines (regular and senior), blood pressure checks, blood glucose checks, medication reviews (bring a list of the medications you take), vision checks, hearing checks, and balance assessments. There’s no cost for any screenings. If you have health insurance, your insurance will be billed for flu vaccines only, but you will not be charged.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes! Kids of all ages are welcome, and we think they’ll have a great time. Younger children can enjoy games, giveaways, and learning opportunities. Clark County Early Intervention will be on hand for baby and toddler development checks.  Older children can learn how to play pickleball, try CPR, or take a ride on the always-popular smoothie bike. All children can enjoy free snacks and healthy food demonstrations.

Will I be able to talk to a doctor?

Yes, Dr. Jenny Guest from Springfield Regional Medical Center will be available to talk about your medical questions. 

Is the Health Expo accessible?

Yes, the Hollenbeck Bayley Conference Center is an accessible facility including handicap parking. There will also be ASL interpreters and a Spanish language interpreter available for guest support. 

What else is at the Health Expo?

You’ll find more than 50 organizations represented, with everything from fruit and veggie giveaways to opportunities for exercise, social service organizations that can help with many different needs, mental health supports and services, youth programs and activities, and more.
