Home and Personal Safety: The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) and SNAP-Ed program help local residents on limited budgets learn basic nutrition, food safety, meal management, thrifty shopping and food resource management. Other programs offered through Family & Consumer Sciences help people keep healthy through good nutrition and food safety, use their money wisely, and balance the demands of life and work. Successful Co-Parenting classes are offered twice per month. Educational programs are offered to address the needs of aging adults to include: Master of Memory, A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns About Falls, Aging and Eating, and Personal Safety.
