Health Screening: The HIV clinic provides HIV testing and risk reduction counseling done by trained personnel. Also provides TB testing. Education and prevention are primary goals of the clinic.
Adult Immunizations: Provides tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis (Tdap), hepatitis B and hepatitis A, Prevnar 13 and Pneumovax 23 (Pneumonia vaccines) and Shigrix (shingles vaccine for people over age 50). Walk-in immunizations for anyone available on Tuesday 8:30 am-11:30 am. Appointments required for immunizations on Wednesday mornings 8:30-11:30 am and Thursdays from 1-3:30 pm. During flu season (November 2017 through March 2018), walk-ins available for flu vaccine only M-F 8:30 am-3:30 pm. Fees may vary according to specific immunization.
Pregnancy Testing and Other Tests/Screening During Pregnancy: Provides pregnancy testing every day from 8:30 am-3:30 pm. Cost: $5 for pregnancy test.
Prenatal Care: Healthy Mommy/Healthy Baby offers free pregnancy testing, and newborn home visits for mothers and infants up to 6 weeks of age. Cribs for Kids offers safe sleep information and supplies to provide the best care for mother and infant.
Home and Personal Safety: Provides environmental services including inspections of septic, water, well and plumbing systems and food service operations.
Diabetes Education and Prevention: Morning, afternoon or evening classes available for people impacted by diabetes. Provides a general overview as well as nutrition and dietary information. Call for appointments and to schedule individual and group classes.
