Start Strong is a coalition of twenty plus organizations focusing on improving and supporting maternal and infant health. The group is coordinated by the Clark County Combined Health District.
Community Health Foundation has supported the coalition from its start and provided a grant of $15,000 most recently. The grant provides educational materials, breastfeeding support, fatherhood education and support, community baby showers and culturally and linguistically appropriate materials.
