It’s Back to School time in our area and Community Health Foundation has heard the call to help meet the needs of children in Clark County.
Teachers from 21 Clark County schools shopped for free classroom supplies and hygiene items at Crayons to Classrooms in 2022-2023, totaling nearly $400,000 worth of supplies to support local classrooms. Community Health Foundation grant funding helps support this important outreach to local schools.
A teacher said, “My students go through so many supplies; having access to Crayons to Classrooms has taken a huge financial burden off me. I have supplies I can offer them to meet their basic needs and I am also able to provide more fun hands-on activities through access to different supplies.”
