Covenant United Methodist Church sponsors the Covenant Freedom School, a Children’s Defense Fund program. The Freedom school provides a six-week summer enrichment program that supports K-12 students and their families through five components—academic and character building; parents and family involvement; civic engagement and social action; intergenerational servant leadership development; and nutrition, mental and physical health.
