CHF provided a grant to Clark State College to fund an interactive mental health screening program for students. The screening is voluntary and anonymous. The goal of the program is to “help students feel more comfortable about seeking counseling”, according to Melinda Van Noord, counseling coordinator for Clark State.
Students who take the stress and depression questionnaire receive a personalized response from a Clark State counselor, which includes recommendations, support and referral information. Students can access the mental health screening questionnaire at https://clarkstate.caresforyou.org/welcome.cfm
