Community Health Foundation sponsors and supports this initiative to improve the oral health of Clark County residents through advocacy, education, and access. February is Children’s Oral Health Month and CHF and its partners are planning to provide toothbrush and toothpaste to every kindergarten and first grade student at all Clark County schools—a total of more than 3,000 students. Oral health screenings are also planned through the Gives Kids A Smile program and with the assistance of dentists Drs. Kayvon and Rohit Nezhad.
Middle and high school students are encouraged to develop a short video for the Healthy Smiles video contest which will promote good dental hygiene tips to elementary students.
