The Clark County Department of Reentry works to provide support, coordination of care and resources for citizens transitioning back into the community following incarceration. The department works to reduce recidivism and increase public safety.
CHF helps fund the department’s community impact program. This program increases access to health and wellness services, employment, and legal resources through “Fair Chance Days” which bring together community resources in a one-stop shop environment. More than 100 individuals have participated in Fair Chance Days this year.
The Reentry Department also recently launched a Citizen’s Circle program, an initiative designed to provide support and empowerment for justice-impacted individuals.
