Community Health Foundation continues to support the Braxton Miller Foundation with their efforts to provide low-cost healthy sports activities for families in Clark County. A $7,500 grant last year helped provide baseball leagues at Davey Moore Park which involved over 100 children, youth basketball leagues with more than 100 participants, and a new pickleball league with 20 children learning to play the popular sport. The foundation is interested in expanding to track and golf programs and is working to identify partnerships to make this possible. They currently partner with National Trail Parks and Recreation and other youth sports clubs in providing these valuable and healthy active sports programs. CHF recently provided $8,000 to support Braxton Miller Foundation’s 2026 programs.
