Yamini Teegala. M.D., is a family physician who serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Rocking Horse Community Health Center ( www.rockinghorsecenter.org ), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that serves Clark and Madison Counties. She earned her medical degree in India. As a physician leader with a public health and finance background, she is very interested in the fields of integrated care, interdisciplinary team approach and healthcare cost reduction. Dr. Teegala’s passion lies in ensuring that her center provides quality care for all patient families with a backdrop of understanding how the social determinants of health affect health.
Dr. Teegala enjoys serving on the board of CHF as she believes in its beautiful mission to preserve reproductive services for the community. She states she “is grateful for the foundation’s robust grant making process and the generosity and trust with which CHF supports other organizations in the community.
